Retail investor have advantage on small fund and speed while institute have others advantage on research news and fund size but they action is slow.
Focus on Small mid stock instead of big stock as they can give back big return.rather than those mature stock. as their growth is limited.
Also the big mature stock have many investor looking at it. so the growth space is limited and share price have reflected all the news.

Institute investor normally will be invest rather than gamble.  Invest in a company means to evaluate the cash flow generate from this company in future. buy the company which can generate cash flow instead of monitor pricing trend.
Invest theme can be seen from anywhere and everywhere, from observation find out what is the trending and what is the lead.
Example to find some lead from gaming website which is the current hottest game ranking etc..
also if you see a restaurant so many ppl queue to verify if due to its food or environment or because of its location or others factor. if due to its restaurant food or services then to check if others branch also doing as good as this.
Focus on find out a good management team and CEO, definition of good is such that the team is open minded and working together, good company culture will sustain and cannot be copy elsewhere.

Summary
Both have shown their success in stock, but it is always depends on individual to find out what is the best method for own. their is no such fixed theory or formula for this. it is always change from time to time. individual shall find out own way.

Summary
1.Can be seen that the personal financing and auto loan is increasing due to demand. as well for motorbike business.
2.NPL is control well around 2%+.
3.dividend paid around 20-30% , much conservative to maintain cash flow. this is a bit different with japanese company here where will choose to pay majority profit out to take out $ back to own country. No Dividend policy fixed.
4.plan to ride on AEON group to promote more biz to consumer, so if AEON do well so will AEONCR. but credit card still is their Core biz.
5. ROE expect to flatten due to company plan to move up/diversify chain to more high value or creditable segment.
6. Plan for 3 year plan for digital wallet. this should be easier by adopting payment method cashless via AEON.
7. Digital Marketing - not sure if this can works.
8. Next engine generation should be base on Emoney.

1. 3rd merger might be successful but most of the shareholder do not feel so, and indeed suggest to go apply bank licence thru bank negara.

2. the impairment is expect to spend another 700mil this year total 2.1B. for 3 years program. after the impairment the profit should be normalized.

3. The ratio for corporate and retail is expect to be 30 : 70 , currently still about 20 : 80. to further focus on the corporate customer. most of it is property development.

4. future plan is still same further strengthen on corporate and retails customer. NPL drop from 30% to 2.9% after engage new method and agency to reduce NPL.
